Tampa Palms Golf & Country Club was built in 1987 and designed by Arthur Hills. The course is an 18-hole championship layout with a par of 72, measuring 7,004 yards with a course rating of 74.3. Located in the heart of New Tampa, the course features a scenic setting. The layout includes many challenging features including water hazards that come into play on ten holes and strategically placed bunkers throughout. The design presents Arthur Hills' trademark undulating greens that demand precision, while also introducing risk-reward holes that invite strategic play for players of all skill levels.
The signature hole is the par-3 17th, which requires a tee shot over an expansive body of water to a green protected by two bunkers on the left side. The course is surrounded by the quiet beauty of open spaces, an Audubon Sanctuary and nature preserves. The greens are Tifeagle Bermuda grass, maintaining excellent conditions throughout the year. The course operates as a private members' club with practice facilities and professional instruction available.
