The Club Universitario de Buenos Aires operates two distinct golf facilities, each with its own layout and history. The original course is located in Villa de Mayo, where the club completed a nine-hole facility in 1951. This course currently has six holes enabled for play, with three additional holes under construction. The second facility, located at the Fátima site, was inaugurated in 1985 to accommodate the sport's growing popularity. This course is an eighteen-hole layout that serves as the primary venue for the club's major internal competitions and national events, including the 2025 Campeonato Nacional Interclubes. Golf activity at the club dates back to 1923, when the sports committee arranged for members to use the Ituzaingó Golf Club. The club's competitive history is extensive, marked by significant victories in the Argentine Interclub Championships. The men's team won the Second Division title in 1958 and the Intermedia championship in 1973 and 1975. A major milestone occurred in 2012 when the men's team won the Intermedia championship again, securing promotion to the Primera División without losing a single match. The women's team also achieved success, winning the Intermedia championship in 1967. The club maintains a robust tradition of individual and team championships. The men's individual title has been claimed by numerous players over the decades, with Guillermo Rodríguez Álvarez and Juan José Perriere among the most successful, each holding the title multiple times. Manuel Maglione has also dominated the men's individual scene in the modern era. In the women's division, A.G.M. de Peluffo held the title for many years, while more recent champions include A. Betolaza de Mella and S. de Ureta. The club also hosts Fourball championships, with the team of L. Abreu Moreira and S. Abreu Moreira winning the title in numerous years between 2000 and 2013. The club's golf program includes extensive junior development, with separate schools for children under thirteen and juveniles aged thirteen to eighteen. These programs operate at both the Fátima and Villa de Mayo locations, offering training on weekends and mid-week sessions. The Fátima facility also features a driving range and a dedicated "kids' course" for junior instruction. The club's leadership is managed by a Captaincy team, currently headed by Gastón Moreau, with Christian A. Robinson as Subcaptain.
