Larena

Course Information

Address:
Buenos Aires
Argentina

Larena Country Club is located in the Partido of Pilar, in the northwest region, situated approximately 1,500 meters from Provincial Route 6 and 2 kilometers from National Route 8. The property spans 55 hectares and is characterized by two streams, Arroyo El Clavel and Arroyo Larena, which cross the grounds and contribute to its natural landscape. The golf course itself is a nine-hole layout designed for a double round, serving as a central recreational activity within the broader sports facilities of the club. The golf course is situated adjacent to the main exit of the first hole, near a dedicated facility known as the "Golfería." This structure serves as the specific clubhouse for golf activities, distinct from the main 500-square-meter country-style mansion that houses the restaurant, cafeteria, and social meeting rooms. The integration of the golf course into the wider 55-hectare estate allows for a shared environment with other sports amenities, including tennis, paddle, and various field sports. The club was established in 1975 with an initial 15 homes and has since expanded to include over 250 residences. The setting is described as a family-oriented environment with permanent security and extensive greenery, designed to offer a respite from urban noise and visual pollution. The presence of the two streams and the formation of a small animal reserve along their banks further define the physical character of the course and its surroundings.
