United States Naval Academy Golf Club is an 18-hole championship course designed by renowned architect William S. Flynn in 1944. Located on Greenbury Point in Annapolis, Maryland, the course features rolling terrain that incorporates the natural landscape of inlets and tidal rivers of the Chesapeake Bay, with distant views of the Bay Bridge.

The course presents significant challenges across its layout, with multiple demanding par fours and strategically placed hazards. Notable features include the "Amen Corner" (holes 12-15), considered the toughest stretch, and the infamous "Pit of Death" bunker on hole 8. The front nine sits south of Greenbury Point Road with par threes and fours, while the back nine north of the road features longer, more demanding holes with severe elevation changes and deep bunker complexes.

Recent renovations (2017-2018) have enhanced the course's difficulty and playability, including complete rebuilds of holes 12, 13, and 14, along with significant modifications to greens, bunkers, and overall bunkering strategy. The course is characterized by narrow greens, steep drop-offs, water hazards, and out-of-bounds markers that demand precision from golfers of all skill levels.
