The Preserve at Eisenhower is an 18-hole course featuring 7,100 yards of golf for a par of 71. The course was originally crafted by renowned architect Ed Ault in 1969 from more than 220 acres of splendidly wooded landscape, taking golfers through forestland, around one of Maryland's finest lakes, and alongside numerous creeks and swales. The championship layout boasts bent grass greens and plush fairways, welcoming golfers of all abilities.

The course reopened in May 2021 after being closed for 2.5 years for a major renovation project, with Anne Arundel County spending $5 million to improve every aspect of the course. The Preserve at Eisenhower features a unique bunkerless design by Andrew Green, which was implemented during the recent renovation. The tee to green renovation was done in tandem with a stream restoration by the Anne Arundel County Bureau of Watershed Protection and Restoration with the help of the US Fish and Wildlife Service.

Eisenhower Golf Course was Anne Arundel County's first public golf course, and it has been challenging Annapolis-area golfers and visitors alike for decades. The course is named after Dwight D. Eisenhower, 34th president of the United States who was an avid golfer.
