Turtle Run Golf Course

Turtle Run Golf Club is a par 72 championship course located in Danville, Illinois, designed by Jim Spears in 1970. The course features four sets of tee lengths—Snapper, Boxer, Softshell, and Tortoise—accommodating players of all skill levels from beginners to experienced golfers. The layout incorporates the natural landscape throughout, with the course grounds maintained by one of Central Illinois's respected grounds crews. The terrain and setting provide both challenge and competitive playability for a variety of abilities. Beyond golf, Turtle Run offers comprehensive amenities including a fully-stocked golf shop, Snapper's Bar & Grill, and a banquet center featuring a newly remodeled 3,300 square foot pavilion. The course has received multiple "People's Choice: Best Course in East Central Illinois" awards and is known for maintaining excellent playing conditions throughout the season.
