Trundle Golf Course is an 18-hole, Par 70 sandgreen facility located in Trundle, New South Wales, at Austral Street. The course measures 5601 meters in length with an AMCR of 66. It is situated in the heart of the town, serving as a central sporting hub for the regional community. The club’s origins date back to 1912 with the establishment of the Wooleringa Golf Club, which relocated to its current site in the early 1920s. The course has maintained a continuous presence in the area for over a century, surviving significant challenges including the destruction of the original clubhouse by fire in 1964 and a subsequent clubhouse loss to a tornado in 1973. In 2004, the Trundle Golf Club amalgamated with the Trundle Services and Citizens Club to secure its future. The layout is designed for accessibility and social play, welcoming visitors, juniors, and members throughout the year. Regular competitive structures include a Wednesday Ladies Competition and a Saturday Mixed Competition, with social golf available seven days a week excluding special tournament days. The facility supports these activities with a fully serviced bar, kitchen, and spacious dining area. The course is characterized by its sandgreen construction, which influences the difficulty and playing conditions. It hosts a variety of events, ranging from social rounds to formal competitions, and provides golf cart hire for visitors. The club maintains an active presence through local social media channels and email correspondence for updates on the golfing program.
