Peak Hill Golf Club is situated in New South Wales' central west, positioned midway between Parkes and Dubbo. The golf course has 18 holes and a total par of 70. Run by dedicated volunteers, the club boasts some of the best sand greens in New South Wales and offers spectacular views of the Hervey Ranges.

The club is open to visitors daily with a very nominal green fee of just $5. The terrain is flat with a putting green. The course features sand greens, which are a distinctive characteristic that sets it apart from most modern golf courses and require different playing techniques.

The club holds an 18-hole competition on Saturdays commencing at noon. The Men's Open is held the last Sunday of August each year, and the Club Open Day is on the first Sunday in April, playing Ambrose format. During summer (October through April), The Chicken Chase is held every Sunday from 4:00 pm, and during winter (April through October) it reverts to 12:30 pm.
