Trillium Links is an 18-hole championship course designed by PGA Senior Tour Player Morris Hatalsky, featuring dramatic elevation changes and meanders through mountain laurels and indigenous hardwoods with Blue Ridge Mountain views. The course measures 6,494 yards with a slope rating of 134. Perched 4,500 feet above sea level, the very mountainous course has abundant elevation changes with fairways lined with poplars, dogwoods and pines that vary in width from hole to hole. Golf Digest awarded it a 4½-star rating, celebrated for thoughtful design showcasing natural beauty while providing fair yet challenging play for all skill levels, with wide tree-lined fairways and strategically placed bunkers demanding accuracy off the tee and undulating greens testing putters. While the course has no official signature hole, hole #8 is a consensus favorite—a 287-yard par 4 situated on a mountainside with a rightward slope that offers breathtaking views overlooking the community once the green is reached.
