Trail Ruts Golf Course is a 9-hole municipal course featuring 2,648 yards with a par of 35, built in 1989. Located on the trail between the Oregon Trail Ruts and Register Cliff in Guernsey, Wyoming, the course offers a distinctive blend of recreational golf and historical significance. The Oregon Trail ruts remain visible on holes 1, 4, and 5, connecting players to the region's frontier heritage where thousands of emigrants traveled between 1843 and 1869.

The course is designed to accommodate all skill levels with well-maintained fairways, strategic bunkers, and smooth greens. Holes six and seven are back-to-back par 3's with a creek to carry, providing distinctive challenges. Practice facilities include a driving range and putting green, and walking is allowed alongside cart rentals and club rentals.

Each year the golf course offers various tournaments, the biggest being the Chet Frederick Memorial Tournament, with proceeds sponsoring scholarships for college bound youth. Located at Larson Park, the course operates seasonally from April through October and features an integrated campground with RV and tent sites.
