Located in Tago, Katori District, Chiba Prefecture, the Tokyo International Airport Golf Club is a flat, 18-hole course set within a landscape featuring approximately 10 meters of elevation change. The layout is divided into an Out Course and an In Course, each offering distinct characteristics for players of varying skill levels. The Out Course presents a mix of distances and undulations, requiring strategic shot selection and technical precision to navigate its varied terrain. The front nine features a demanding Par 5 at the 5th hole, stretching 493 yards from the back tees, and a long Par 5 at the 9th that measures 538 yards. The 6th hole is a short Par 3 protected by a water hazard, while the 7th hole is a 423-yard Par 4 that plays from a sloping lie. The back nine includes a significant Par 5 at the 11th hole, which measures 492 yards from the back tees, and a Par 3 at the 17th that is 199 yards long. The 18th hole is a 385-yard Par 4 that concludes the round. The course is designed to be accessible yet challenging, with the In Course described as relatively flat with fewer traps, allowing for easier score-making if players avoid aggressive risks. Several holes are defined by out-of-bounds areas, particularly on the left side of the fairway for the 1st, 4th, and 13th holes, as well as the right side of the 10th and 12th holes. Water hazards are present on the 4th and 15th holes, adding another layer of difficulty to the strategic layout. Total yardage from the back tees is 6,724, with a par of 72. The club enforces a non-metal spike policy, prohibiting metal cleats on the course. The facility caters to both average golfers and advanced players, ensuring that the diverse hole designs keep the round engaging throughout.
