Set in the rugged Pennine countryside, the course offers magnificent panoramic views of the surrounding landscape and is considered one of the oldest and most picturesque 9-hole courses in the United Kingdom.
The course presents a genuine challenge for golfers of all abilities, characterized by narrow fairways, testing rough, and well-maintained, sculptured greens. Its demanding layout and distinctive design make it appealing to both casual visitors and experienced players seeking a memorable round.
The clubhouse, originally built in 1764, has been modernised while retaining its character. It provides a welcoming atmosphere for members and visitors to relax after their round. Todmorden Golf Club maintains a reputation as a friendly, hospitable venue that welcomes golfing societies, corporate clients, and individual visitors alongside its membership.
