The Preserve is an 18-hole, par 72 championship course strategically placed in some of Minnesota's best forest and wetlands in Pequot Lakes. The course was designed by Dan Helbling and Michael Morley and opened in 1990, with a million-dollar renovation in 2015. Scenic views from eleven elevated tees offer views of nature's beauty, and five tees at each hole offer maximum flexibility for all skill levels.

Bentgrass greens, tees and fairways are meticulously maintained, and the course is known for its scenic elevated tees, rolling landscapes, and tour-speed greens, with the clubhouse featuring one of the best deck views in Minnesota. The course presents a challenging layout with undulating greens and several memorable par 5 holes. The Preserve has received multiple honors including Gold Medal Resort from Golf Magazine, recognition in Golfweek Magazine's Best Courses You Can Play in Minnesota, and Golf Digest's America's Top Golf Courses.
