Deacon's Lodge is an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Arnold Palmer and located at Breezy Point Resort in Northern Minnesota. Named in honor of Arnold Palmer's father, "Deke," the course was carved from 500 acres of pristine wilderness featuring lakes, woodlands, and wetlands. The layout is characterized by expansive bent grass fairways, intricately designed green complexes, and native transition areas throughout. All 18 holes possess signature-quality design elements, presenting a balanced challenge suitable for skilled players while remaining accessible to recreational golfers. The course has received significant recognition, including being ranked the #2 public course in Minnesota by Golfweek Magazine and selected as a Top 10 New Public Course in the United States by Golf Digest in 2000.
