The Phoenician Golf Club is an 18-hole championship course located in Scottsdale, Arizona, designed by architect Phil Smith. Following a comprehensive renovation completed in recent years, the course plays to a par 71 with five sets of tees ranging from 4,418 yards to 6,501 yards from the championship tees. Set within the Sonoran Desert landscape, the redesigned course features entirely new greens, tees, fairways, and distinctive flaired bunker styling that complements the natural desert environment. The course emphasizes player-friendly design with straightforward shot-making opportunities—all hazards are visible with no blind shots or surprise bunkers, allowing golfers to make informed decisions on each hole. The course reopened following its multi-year transformation as the centerpiece of The Phoenician Resort's major renovation. Managed by Troon Golf, it has been recognized as "North America's Leading Golf Resort" by the World Travel Awards and ranked among Golf Digest's "Top 75 Golf Resorts in America."
