The Little Course is a 9-hole par-3 course located at Black Lake Golf Club in Onaway, Michigan. Designed by renowned architect Rees Jones, who also created the property's 18-hole championship course, The Little Course features holes ranging from 54 to 117 yards. The course is situated on 1,100 acres of natural terrain characterized by winding lakes, marshes, ravines, and surrounding maple and birch forests. The Little Course is ideal for junior golfers, beginners, and players looking to develop their short-game skills, offering an entertaining layout with impeccable greens.

Black Lake Golf Club as a whole opened in 2000 and has earned numerous national accolades. The championship course has been recognized by Golf Digest as ranking number 5 for best course to play in Michigan, number 9 for best value, and number 34 among America's 100 greatest public courses. The facility is operated as part of the UAW Black Lake Conference Center and is open to the general public. In addition to The Little Course, Black Lake offers practice facilities including a double-sided driving range, multiple practice bunkers, and chipping and putting greens.
