The Legend Golf Course is an 18-hole championship layout located at Constance Belle Mare Plage in Mauritius. Designed by South African champion Hugh Baiocchi and established in 1994, the course is set within an indigenous forest and built to USPGA specifications using Tif Dwarf grasses. It plays to a par of 72 with a total length of 6,018 meters. The course is characterized by significant water hazards and tree-lined fairways that demand precision. The fifth hole is identified as the most difficult on the layout, requiring a straight drive to avoid water and setting up a challenging long iron approach to a well-protected green. The seventh hole serves as the most challenging par 3, typically played into the wind toward a green flanked by bunkers. Notable holes include the sixth, a 457-meter par 5 where the green can be reached in two shots but offers little landing area and is guarded by three bunkers. The 13th hole presents a risk-reward scenario with a long carry over water to an elevated fairway that narrows as it approaches the green. The 17th hole offers views of the mountains and sea, requiring a mid to short iron over water to a large, undulating green. The round concludes with the 18th hole, a dogleg par 5 that finishes on a peninsular green below the clubhouse. This final hole is protected by three bunkers, including one positioned behind the green to catch over-hit shots, and is visible from the Deer Hunter restaurant and bar.
