Ile Aux Cerfs Golf Club is a 19-hole championship course designed by renowned golfer Bernhard Langer, located on Ile aux Cerfs Island off the east coast of Mauritius. Accessible only by private boat shuttle or helicopter, the course spans 38 hectares and winds through preserved tropical landscape featuring volcanic rock outcrops, lakes, and gullies. All 19 holes offer ocean views, ranging from glimpses through clearings to close proximity to the shoreline.
The course accommodates players of all skill levels with multiple tee options: Langer Tees (7,115 yards, slope 155), Championship Tees (6,576 yards, slope 145), Tournament Tees (5,992 yards, slope 124), and Forward Tees (5,054 yards, slope 129). The undulating topography and natural hazards provide challenge for advanced players while remaining playable for recreational golfers. Significant upgrades to both front and back nine holes were completed between 2013-2014 to enhance accessibility and enjoyment.
Golf World magazine recognized Ile Aux Cerfs as the number one of the Top-20 Golf Courses to play in a lifetime. Professional golfer Colin Montgomerie endorses it as a "must play" destination, establishing its reputation as one of the world's premier island golf courses.
