The International

The International is a members-only golf course located in Badhoevedorp, Amsterdam. Designed by renowned golfer Ian Woosnam in collaboration with Mastergolf, the course is noted as potentially the most beautiful in the Netherlands. The layout makes excellent use of highly undulating terrain with elevation changes up to 14 meters, incorporating challenging water features and strategic bunker placements.

The course features diverse holes varying significantly in layout and difficulty, ranging from extremely long holes without bunkers to short par-3s with eight bunkers guarding the green. The course includes narrow straight holes with sloping fairways and strategic doglegs with occasional blind shots. The greens are large, fast, and heavily contoured, designed to offer numerous pin-position options and protected by water hazards, strategically placed bunkers, and significant elevation changes.

The design incorporates high-quality materials, including Portuguese natural stone used for pathways and course markers. The clubhouse offers contemporary architecture with panoramic views of the course from its terrace. The club provides extensive facilities including a golf school, driving range, restaurant, and meeting rooms. Membership is exclusive and limited, with both private and corporate membership options available. The course is restricted to members and their invited guests only.
