The Meadows at The Greenbrier is an 18-hole championship course with a rich architectural history spanning over a century. Originally designed by Alexander H. Findlay as a 9-hole course called Lakeside in 1911, it has undergone multiple transformations. Seth Raynor contributed updates in 1923, Dick Wilson expanded it to 18 holes in 1962, and Bob Cupp redesigned it in 1999, establishing its current identity.

Located at The Greenbrier Resort in the mountains of West Virginia, the course features breathtaking mountain vistas and elegant landscape design. The layout showcases dynamic green complexes and signature stacked sod bunkers throughout. Following a devastating 2016 flood, the course underwent complete restoration and emerged in summer 2017 with renewed character while maintaining its classic design elements.

The Meadows represents a blend of traditional golf architecture and modern course management, offering strategic play across varied terrain. Its evolution through multiple legendary designers reflects The Greenbrier's commitment to maintaining championship-caliber golf facilities that balance historical significance with contemporary playability and aesthetic appeal.
