The Country Club of Greenfield is an 18-hole parkland and links-style course with a par of 72, located in Greenfield, Massachusetts. Established in 1896 as the "Greenfield Golf Club" in Abercrombie Pasture, the club relocated to its current location in 1901. The course was originally designed by Alex Findlay and later extended to 18 holes by Ralph Barton. As one of New England's oldest golf clubs, it remains a significant regional institution.
The layout presents a balanced challenge suitable for players of varying skill levels while offering sufficient difficulty to test accomplished golfers. The course is characterized by its parkland and links-style design, with greens consistently regarded as among the finest in western Massachusetts. The par 72 layout demands both distance and accuracy, making it a respectable test of golfing ability. The course features a traditional club structure with membership options, tournament competitions, and league play throughout the year, complemented by an on-site restaurant facility.
