Takinomiya Country Club is a 27-hole facility located in Niihama, Ehime Prefecture, situated at an elevation of 100 meters overlooking the city. The course is divided into three distinct nine-hole layouts: the Akaishi Course, the Besshi Course, and the Ishizuchi Course. Designed by architect Toshisuke Kato, the layout offers players three different routing combinations to ensure variety across the 27 holes. The setting provides views of the Shikoku mountain range and benefits from a mild climate with minimal winter snowfall, allowing for year-round play. The Akaishi, Besshi, and Ishizuchi courses are designed to offer strategic challenges, with the club emphasizing that the multiple routing options prevent the experience from becoming repetitive. The terrain is characterized by its elevated position, which affords players panoramic views of the surrounding landscape and the city below. The course is accessible via the Iyo-Saijo Interchange on the Matsuyama Expressway, placing it within a short drive of major cities in Shikoku such as Matsuyama, Takamatsu, and Kochi. Facilities at the club include a covered driving range with 25 bays extending to 250 yards, as well as separate approach and bunker practice areas. Each of the nine-hole sections is equipped with two restrooms, and the course utilizes remote-control carts featuring navigation systems. The club features a large clubhouse with a restaurant serving seasonal menus, a pro shop, and locker rooms with extensive storage capacity. Additionally, the facility includes a large public bath with black granite tubs and banquet rooms capable of hosting up to 128 guests for competitions and events.
