Located in Saitama Prefecture, the Iwadono Course at Takasaka Country Club is a 18-hole championship layout designed by renowned architect Seizo Tomizawa. The fairways are wide with gentle slopes, offering a comfortable start for most holes. The front nine features undulating greens, while the back nine is relatively flatter. Strategically placed bunkers and water hazards add to the difficulty, catering to players ranging from average golfers to single-digit handicappers. The course measures 6,536 yards from the back tees for men, with a par of 72. The front nine covers 3,131 yards, featuring a mix of par-4s, a par-5, and a par-3. The back nine extends to 3,405 yards, including two demanding par-5s and a short par-3. The course rating is 71.6 from the back tees with a slope rating of 129. The layout requires powerful drives on the longer holes and precise iron shots on the shorter, more technical ones. Players must take a club bus to access the Iwadono Course, as it is located separately from the main clubhouse. The course includes practice facilities such as a putting green at the start holes and an approach practice area. Lunch is served at the Iwadono Restaurant, which is the designated dining location for players on this course. The course is open to the public and offers a challenging yet enjoyable round for golfers of all levels.
