Musashi Matsuyama Country Club is an 18-hole, par-72 golf course located in Kamome, Higashimatsuyama, Saitama. The layout was supervised by renowned course architect Kikuo Arai, with the clubhouse designed by Mitsubishi Jisho Sekkei and construction handled by Shimizu Corporation. The course features Bent 2 greens and offers a total distance of 6,359 yards from the back tees, with a course rating of 73.1. The property is characterized by its natural setting, which includes red pine forests and scattered ponds that create a relaxed atmosphere for players. The design caters to a wide range of abilities, from beginners to single-digit handicap players. The front nine measures 3,210 yards, while the back nine runs for 3,149 yards from the regular tees. Key challenges on the course include the 579-yard, par-5 1st hole and the 564-yard, par-5 15th hole, both of which are recommended for drive distance. Shorter holes such as the 168-yard, par-3 8th and the 195-yard, par-3 16th are noted for their proximity pin requirements. The course rating was reassessed in July 2020, with the new rating officially certified in August of that year, reflecting a slight increase in difficulty. The club was established on September 18, 1985, and celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2025. It is a JGA-recognized course, with official rating certificates available for both men and women. The facility is situated in a location that often experiences different weather conditions compared to central Tokyo, with local forecasts indicating it may remain relatively dry even when rain falls in the city.
