Swords Open Golf Course is an 18-hole parkland course set on relatively flat terrain near Dublin. The Broadmeadow River flows through the layout, with strategically placed water hazards and features well-integrated into the course design. The course is known for being playable year-round thanks to significant drainage investments and professional maintenance by Course Superintendent Colm McGuinness and his team. The course has hosted the Irish PGA Southern Championship in 2007, 2008, and 2009. Swords Open Golf Course is part of the Roganstown Hotel and Country Club resort, located approximately 10 minutes from Dublin Airport. The facility includes a putting and chipping green along with practice nets for pre-round preparation. The course regularly welcomes visitors and corporate groups alongside members, offering a well-equipped pro-shop and dining options at the on-site bar.
