Course Information Unclaimed
Address:
County Dublin
Ireland
Roganstown, designed by Christy O'Connor Jnr., is a challenging course set on a beautiful landscape with meandering water hazards. The 18-hole course plays to par 71 at 7000 yards. The Broadmeadow river flows through the land and water is a feature on many holes. Located only 10 minutes' drive from Dublin Airport, the course regularly attracts international visitors and corporate groups. It is a long test for the short-handicapper, but a variety of tees makes it accommodating to the casual golfer.
Roganstown Hotel & Country Club is home to two 18-hole acclaimed championship golf courses, Swords Open Golf Course and Roganstown Championship Course. Both golf courses are set within the main hotel resort and share the same facilities; in fact, the first holes for both courses are adjacent to each other. There are rich gravel deposits underground at Roganstown which means that drainage is spectacular and both courses are playable 365 days of the year.
The course has hosted the Irish PGA Southern Championship in 2007, 2008 and 2009 and the Irish PGA Championship in 2013 and was the first venue in Ireland to host a EuroPro Tour Event in 2006.
