Summit Green Valley Chiangmai Country Club

Summit Green Valley Chiangmai Country Club is an 18-hole, par 72 golf course located approximately 20 minutes from Chiang Mai near Mae Rim, established in 1990. Designed by Dennis Griffiths, the course stretches to 7,200 yards from the blue tees and features hundreds of palm trees framing well-maintained fairways with mountain views.

The course presents significant challenge despite appearing open, with strategically placed water hazards and bunkers narrowing landing areas throughout. Signature hole is the par 4 ninth, requiring a water carry from the tee into sand-guarded landing area, followed by an uphill second shot over water to an elevated green surrounded by palms and bunkers. The short par 3 twelfth demands accuracy with intentionally long rough and a large bunker behind the green. The par 5 eighteenth doglegs right with bunker and water hazards protecting the tee shot landing zone and green.

Multiple tee options accommodate varying skill levels, with blue tees rated at 74.5 slope and red tees at 72.1. The course offers night golf with high-quality lighting, providing an alternative playing experience from 3 PM to 7 PM.
