Strathcona Golf Course ☆ Follow

Strathcona Golf Course is an 18-hole, Par 72 layout spanning 6,509 yards, situated on rolling wooded terrain in the northwest part of Thunder Bay. The course was constructed in the 1920s, initially opening with nine holes on Labour Day, September 7, 1925. It is located at 500 Hodder Ave, at the corner of Arundel Street. The design accommodates players of all abilities through four sets of tee boxes, allowing the course to be adjusted for varying skill levels. The setting provides a natural environment where golfers can enjoy the matured landscape while playing. Amenities include a full-service pro shop with club and cart rentals, a putting green, and a hitting net. The clubhouse features a licensed lounge that offers light lunch and snack services. A beverage cart is also available on the course. The course is open seasonally seven days a week. Tee times can be booked by calling the pro shop or through the city's booking system.
