Stoney Creek is a 27-hole Rees Jones design located in the Rockfish River valley, with three distinct 9-hole layouts known as the Monocan, Shamokin, and Tuckahoe nines. The course is located approximately 45 minutes southwest of Charlottesville in Nellysford, Virginia, and offers 27 championship holes designed by legendary architect Rees Jones. The course features spectacular vistas of the Blue Ridge Mountains, with elevation changes, contoured greens and occasional side hill lies, while incorporating natural elements such as meandering streams, hardwood forests and pristine wetlands.

The layout blends wide fairways, large contoured greens, and multiple teeing areas, making it enjoyable for golfers of all skill levels. Panoramic mountain views, flowing streams, and the picturesque Lake Monocan come into play across several holes. All three nines offer generous landing areas, few forced carries and large, deceptively contoured greens. The course is nationally recognized and has been selected as one of the world's premier golf destinations.
