Stones River Country Club is a private club located in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, established in 1946. The club offers an 18-hole golf course that is well regarded for its design and maintenance. The course features 6,348 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71, and was designed by Robert Renault. The original 9 holes were built in 1947 with an additional 9 holes added in 1969.
The course borders the banks of the Stones River and presents notable challenges to players. The course has tight fairways and elevated greens that are very fast and undulating, with water hazards coming into play on five holes. The course features Mini Verde Bermuda grass greens and a challenging yet playable track.
Beyond golf, members can enjoy swimming, tennis, and dining facilities within the club. The course is maintained by Course Superintendent Robert Kuhn with Assistant Superintendents David Sweazen and Zach Cannon, who have maintained golf courses for organizations such as Settindown Creek, Ansley Golf Club, and The Golf Club of Tennessee.
