Stone Gate Golf Course ☆ Follow

Stone Gate Golf Course was designed by Walter Denzer and opened to the public in 1993. The front 9 is a regulation par 36 course while the back 9 is an executive par-3 course. Located on the south edge of Lubbock, the course provides distinct golfing experiences across its two layouts. The course design features large, elevated bent-grass greens and some surprisingly challenging holes. The regulation front nine offers straightforward play that rewards solid shots, while the par-3 back nine presents a more demanding test of short-game skills.

Stone Gate is Lubbock's family golf course, with Ladies, Junior, and couples programs. The facility boasts exceptional practice facilities and provides a family-friendly atmosphere enhanced by programs tailored for juniors, ladies, and couples. The course serves as a community hub for golfers of varying skill levels, from beginners to more experienced players seeking shorter rounds or quick evening practice sessions.
