Steamboat Golf Club

Steamboat Golf Club is a 9-hole course located in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, established in 1965 by local golf enthusiasts in the Yampa Valley. The course borders the Yampa River and features scenic views of the valley and Steamboat ski mountain, set among mature cottonwood groves. While the layout presents minimal length challenges with only one par 4 exceeding 400 yards, the course is primarily defended by lush rough, a meandering creek, and small, challenging greens. This combination makes it one of the most enjoyable walking courses in the Rockies, with a typical 9-hole round completable in approximately 2 hours. The course is ranked #13 by GolfPass Golfer's Choice 2025. Open to the public with 100 member-owners, Steamboat Golf Club serves as an integral part of the local community. A practice green and scenic creekside deck are available on-site. The club maintains an active social schedule and hosts various tournaments and events throughout the year.
