Stapleford Abbotts Golf Course

Stapleford Abbotts Golf Club is an 18-hole PGA Championship Course located in Romford, Essex, that opened in 1989. The course features mature woodlands, undulating fairways, and several water features including ponds that provide challenge for golfers of all skill levels. The layout incorporates strategic bunkers and water hazards throughout the design.

Recent significant investment in course machinery and maintenance has enhanced playability. Improved drainage systems ensure the course remains playable year-round, with temporary greens rarely needed. Buggy paths circle all 18 holes, making the course accessible even during winter months. Trolleys and buggies are available for hire.

The club maintains active Men's and Ladies' sections with regular competitive events, plus two senior sections that meet three times weekly.
