Risebridge Golf Centre

Risebridge Golf Centre is an 18-hole, par 73 public pay-and-play course located near Romford, spanning 156 acres and measuring 6,278 yards. Designed by the renowned Hawtree dynasty and founded in 1972, the course is built on mature farmland and offers scenic views throughout play.

The course presents challenging yet accessible golf suitable for all skill levels, featuring well-groomed fairways and greens that maintain consistent difficulty while remaining player-friendly. The landscape and terrain provide varied playing conditions across the 18 holes.

Beyond the course itself, Risebridge Golf Centre operates as a comprehensive golf facility. It includes a 14-bay driving range, practice area, practice green, GPS buggies, and trolley hire. The Pro Shop stocks major golf brands, and the clubhouse provides dining and beverage facilities with television screens for sports viewing.

The course is maintained to high standards by a dedicated greenkeeping team led by head greenkeeper Doug Mackinson. Risebridge Golf Club, also established in 1972, operates from the same location and organizes weekly and monthly competitions while welcoming new members year-round. The centre accommodates society events and group outings.
