Located along the shores of Lac St-François in Saint-Anicet, Quebec, the Club de Golf St-Anicet operates a 45-hole complex comprising two distinct 18-hole courses. The St-Anicet course, established in 1963, measures 6,400 yards with a par of 71 and a slope rating of 125. The Port-Lewis course, added in 1970, offers a slightly shorter layout of 6,012 yards with a par of 72 and a slope rating of 118. The facility allows for various 18-hole combinations, routing the St-Anicet front and back nine together, or mixing the St-Anicet back nine with the Port-Lewis back nine, and vice versa. The St-Anicet course is characterized by elevated greens, a feature noted as among the most raised in the Montérégie region, which demands strategic approach shots. The Port-Lewis course features a redesigned sixth hole with an artificial lake, a practice green relocated to the first tee, and a new artificial lake on the fourteenth hole. The layout is set against the backdrop of the St. Lawrence River, with the course situated near the Vaudreuil-Dorion area and accessible via Autoroute 30. The club was founded by Lucien Faubert, who initially built a nine-hole course before expanding to 27 holes in 1963 and adding the second 18-hole layout in 1970. His nephew, Jacques Faubert, took over in 1985 and oversaw significant improvements including drainage, irrigation, and the addition of sand traps and trees. Marc Faubert has managed the property since 2001, adding a restaurant and further enhancing the terrain. The course hosts over 100 social and corporate tournaments annually.
