Club de Golf Rivière Rouge is an 18-hole golf course located in Coteau-du-Lac, Quebec, within the Montérégie region. The course was established in 1972 by Maurice Berthiaume, who initially created a 9-hole layout. The course expanded to its current 18-hole configuration in 1979 with the addition of a second 9-hole section. The club is currently managed by the third generation of the Berthiaume family, Jessica Berthiaume St-Pierre and Simon St-Pierre, who took over operations in 2021.
The course is characterized as intermediate to advanced in difficulty, featuring water obstacles on several holes. The setting is described as a green and spacious environment. The facility includes a 10,000-square-foot real grass practice green and a real grass driving range that can accommodate up to 10 golfers simultaneously, complete with a sand bunker for practice. Golfers have the option to play the full 18 holes or a 9-hole round. The course offers equipment rentals, including golf carts and complete sets of clubs. The club emphasizes daily maintenance of the turf and promotes a welcoming environment suitable for both beginners and experienced players, with a focus on community and inclusiveness.
