Spring Valley Golf Club is an 18-hole championship course located in Lexington, Kentucky, situated on 429 acres of rolling hills. The course plays 6,793 yards from the championship tees with a par of 72, a course rating of 72.7, and a slope rating of 129. Originally designed by Buck Blankenship and opened in 1949, the course has been renovated and updated by architects Keith Foster and Kevin Hargrave. The layout features quick, undulating greens and is routed naturally into the valley, with Running Creek lined by mature cottonwood trees meandering throughout the course.

The course presents a moderate to challenging experience for golfers of all skill levels, with well-maintained fairways and strategically placed bunkers. The setting incorporates diverse wildlife and offers views across the surrounding landscape. A significant flood in 2023 prompted reconstruction efforts on various course features.

Spring Valley has hosted multiple USGA qualifiers, high school championships, CJGA Championships, and various CGA and CWGA tournaments throughout its history. The facility operates as a privately owned public course with a clubhouse featuring dining options and event spaces.
