Lexington Country Club

Lexington Country Club, founded over a hundred years ago, is located on Paris Pike in Fayette County, Kentucky. The club was established by prominent Lexington citizens who sought to create a premier social and recreational facility modeled after leading country clubs across the United States.

The course is set on lush grounds characterized by beautiful, manicured landscapes typical of the Bluegrass region. Beyond golf, the club features comprehensive amenities including tennis courts, swimming facilities, and fine dining, reflecting its evolution into a full-service country club.

The golf course was designed by Thomas Bendelow, a notable course architect of that era. The club has hosted significant sports tournaments throughout its history and continues to maintain its reputation as a distinguished social institution. Recent renovations have been undertaken to preserve and enhance the course.
