Southern Hills Country Club

Southern Hills Country Club is a private, member-owned golf course located in Tulsa, Oklahoma, established in 1935. The Championship Golf Course opened in May 1936 and is recognized among the top 100 courses in the world. Designed by renowned architect Gil Hanse, who completed a comprehensive restoration in May 2019, the course exemplifies championship-caliber design and playability.

The course has hosted 17 championships since 1945, including an unprecedented five PGA Championships, with the most recent held in May 2022 and won by Justin Thomas. Southern Hills is known for its challenging layout that has consistently attracted major championship golf events, demonstrating its difficulty level and technical design.

The club has evolved significantly over the decades, expanding beyond golf to include a 12-court tennis facility with six indoor courts, a pool complex, golf performance center, and health and wellness amenities.
