SilverHorn Golf Club is a par 72 course located in San Antonio, Texas, designed to reflect the distinct character of the Texas Hill Country. The layout was created by designer Randy Heckenkemper in collaboration with PGA Tour professionals Willie Wood and Scott Verplank. The course features tree-lined fairways, strategically placed sand and water hazards, and contoured greens that define its playing conditions. The front nine is anchored by the signature par-5 6th hole, a 556-yard dogleg left where twenty acres of water border the entire left side, bringing water into play on every shot. The back nine presents its primary challenge on the par-4 15th hole, a 446-yard stretch described as the course's most difficult. This hole requires accuracy and length off the tee, followed by a long iron approach to an elevated green guarded by a large bunker on the left. Two creeks cross through the fairway on this hole, requiring players to clear them to reach the green. SilverHorn Golf Club has been ranked among "The Top 25 Courses in Texas" by The Dallas Morning News and recognized in Golf Digest's "Places to Play." The facility includes a driving range and golf instruction services led by PGA Director of Instruction Chuck Westergard. The course is managed by Encore Leisure Group and is situated at 1100 W. Bitters Rd. in San Antonio.
