Silver Sage Golf Course

Designed by Bob E. Baldock in 1953 and renovated in 2012, Silver Sage Golf Course is located in Idaho's high desert at Mountain Home Air Force Base. This challenging 18-hole military course stretches to 7,000 yards at par 72 and features USGA-standard greens and bunkers. The layout successfully integrates golf with the region's native habitat and high desert landscape. The course offers five sets of tees to accommodate all skill levels, from beginners to advanced players. Silver Sage is known for exceptional tee time availability and fast pace of play, with 18 holes typically completed in 3 hours or less. The course provides a self-serve driving range and hosts a variety of innovative tournament formats and instructional programs tailored to different demographics and abilities. On-site amenities include the Hackers Restaurant and a fully-stocked pro shop offering custom club fitting, tuning, and repair services.
