Mountain Home Golf Course ☆ Follow

Desert Canyon Golf Course is an 18-hole public golf course located in Mountain Home, Idaho. Established in 1963 as a 9-hole course, the back nine was added in 1998. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,333 yards with a par of 71. The entire golf course presents a significant test from the back tees while offering an easier and more relaxing round from the white and orange tee boxes.

The older front nine features large trees and elevated greens, with holes playing either uphill or downhill with a creek meandering through that comes into play on four holes. The back nine was built adjacent to a canyon with four holes constructed around the large canyon and water in play on five holes. Signature holes include hole #14, a 170-yard par 3 requiring a carry over the canyon to a mounded, two-tiered green, and hole #17, a 311-yard par 4 requiring a 150-yard carry from the back tee to the fairway.
