Signal Mountain Golf & Country Club is an 18-hole course featuring 6,095 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71. Located less than 20 minutes from downtown Chattanooga in Signal Mountain, Tennessee, the course first opened for play in 1922. Designed to follow the terrain of the mountain with no two holes alike, the fairways are tree-lined with enough variety of terrain to challenge any skill level, though water does not come into play but sand bunkers are placed strategically throughout the design.

The course rating is 69.5 and it has a slope rating of 124 on Bermuda grass. The longest hole on the course is hole 9, a par-5 that plays to 534 yards, while the shortest is hole 3, a par-3 that plays to 132 yards from the back tees. Hole 15 is particularly difficult—a 359-yard par 4 featuring a three-tiered green that frustrates any golfer who doesn't hit a precise approach shot.

Throughout the year, the club hosts numerous member tournaments, such as the Club Championship, Ladies Invitational, Spring & Fall Couples, Parent Child, and Superintendent's Revenge, among others.
