Moccasin Bend Golf Club is an 18-hole championship course built in 1966, measuring 6,469 yards from the back tees with a par of 72. The course features bentgrass greens. Four sets of tees accommodate golfers of every skill level, while Bermuda grass fairways characterize the layout. The course was designed by renowned golf architect John LaFoy and features rolling hills, undulating fairways, and strategically placed bunkers and hazards.
Located in the scenic heart of Chattanooga, Tennessee, nestled alongside the Tennessee River with Lookout Mountain as a backdrop, the course offers a visually stunning and challenging layout. Water frequently comes into play throughout the course. Historic Lookout Mountain overlooks the 13th hole as a notable feature. The course is situated on land once occupied by Confederate soldiers, with many holes named after key figures and events from the Civil War, adding historical significance to the golfing experience.
