Shirasagi Golf Club is a 18-hole course located in Himeji, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan, situated approximately 10 kilometers from the Kasai Interchange on the Chuo Expressway. The layout is strategically divided into two distinct nines, with the front nine characterized by fairways that vary in width and generally feature longer holes. The back nine introduces more complex terrain, incorporating uphill and downhill shots alongside blind approaches and dramatic water carries. The course is particularly noted for its water hazards, which play a significant role in the difficulty of the layout. Three of the four par-3 holes require a carry over water, with the ponds extending right up to the edges of the greens. The 16th hole, a par-3, is highlighted as a challenging test, requiring a carry of 200 yards from the back tees. This design forces golfers to be precise with their approach shots, as the water features leave little margin for error. The course offers multiple tee boxes, with yardages ranging from the red tees at 403 yards for the 1st hole to the blue tees at 506 yards, allowing for playability across different skill levels. The layout’s emphasis on water carries and varied terrain makes it a distinctive course in the Hyogo region.
