Shimanto Country Club is an 18-hole course located in Mankazaki, Shimanto City, Kōchi Prefecture, Japan. The layout was designed by architect Shōichi Suzuki and officially opened on November 1, 1974. The total distance of the course is 5,583 yards, divided into an outward nine of 2,678 yards and an inward nine of 2,905 yards. The greens are maintained with Korai grass, a traditional variety known for its smooth putting surfaces and distinct grain characteristics. The course is situated in the Shikoku region, accessible via the Shimanto-cho Chuo Interchange on the Kōchi Expressway, approximately 50 kilometers away. As a facility managed by Shimanto Country Club Co., Ltd., it is affiliated with the Japan Golf Association, the Shikoku Golf Union, and the Kōchi Prefectural Golf Association. The club maintains a membership of 900 regular members and offers practice facilities including two putting greens and an approach practice area. The club also observes annual events such as the Shimanto Diary Memorial Day on April 10th, which features special rates and meals for visitors. The course does not have on-site accommodation, though hotel referrals are available for guests.
