Shelly Point Hotel, Spa & Country Club

Shelley Point Country Club is a nine-hole golf course founded in 1999 and designed by renowned South African PGA professional Ken Elkin, who has designed over 40 courses including Devonvale Golf, Parow, Durbanville, and Erinvale. Located in a naturally beautiful setting, the course features lush greens, tees, and fairways that wind through indigenous vegetation characteristic of the region. The landscape provides a scenic habitat for small buck, hares, and various bird species, creating a distinctive natural atmosphere. The terrain offers a challenging game despite its nine-hole layout. A notable feature of the location is the ability to see both sunrise and sunset, accommodating golfers who prefer early or late tee times throughout most of the year. The course operates seven days a week with club competitions held on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Visitors are welcome to play any day, and the facility also includes two tennis courts and a bowling green as part of the country club amenities.
