Moorreesburg Golf Club​​​​ ☆ Follow

The club was established in 1913 and houses a 9-hole parkland course with par 35 and a length of 5,666 meters. Through two different options for teeing off, the course can also be played as an 18-hole course with par 70. The course runs across very even terrain and displays broad fairways lined by trees.

The course is located on the southern edge of Moorreesburg in the Western Cape province, embedded in an idyllic residential area in the heart of Swartland, which is surrounded by wheat fields. The club is quick to reach in seven minutes from Moorreesburg's center, and provides good connection to the N 7, making the journey from Cape Town approximately one hour.

The course is easy to master for golfers of all levels and hosts the annual Spar Tiger Classic golf tournament. The club offers a neat, beautiful and interesting 9-hole course that invites visitors to play at affordable tariffs with excellent club facilities, and specializes in catering for groups of up to 120, including green fees, halfway house and steakbraai services.
