Shady Hollow has been operating since 1925 and is a private 18-hole course featuring 6,651 yards with a par of 72. The course was originally designed by William F. Mitchell with redesigns in 1950 by Ron Force and in 1990 by Brian Huntley. The course rating is 71.6 with a slope rating of 129 on bent grass. This fairly hilly course hosts the Ohio Amateur qualifier tournament annually.

The longest hole on the course is hole 7, a par-5 playing to 536 yards, which serves as the #1 handicap hole, while the easiest hole is hole 11, a 152-yard par-3. The course completed a full bunker renovation in 2019 along with extensive tree removal in 2019-2020. Located in Massillon, Ohio, the course offers an 18-hole layout suitable for golfers of varying skill levels, combining challenging architecture with maintained conditioning.
