Schuylkill Country Club, nestled in scenic Orwigsburg, PA, began as a 9-hole course designed by Willie Park Jr. Officially opening in 1921, it was later expanded in the 1940s when Donald Ross added 9-holes and redesigned it into the challenging yet enjoyable 18-hole layout known today. The par of Schuylkill Country Club is 72 with a length of 6857 yards. The course rating is 73.2 with a slope of 134.

Ross was involved in designing or redesigning around 400 courses from 1900-1948, laying the foundation for America's golf industry. His challenging layout is known for its fabulously maintained playing conditions in a peaceful, quiet atmosphere. The view allowed for all to see for miles in all directions. In 2021, the club celebrated its 100th anniversary with a series of events, including the "Family Centennial Fair" in May.
